Having attended too many dreary, badly led, unsatisfying funeral services, I decided to qualify as a funeral celebrant. My aim was to offer the best possible service, with time and thought as well as years of experience in public speaking and writing brought to the table. To offer a joyful celebration of life as well as comfort for those left behind.
An increasing number of people are opting for direct cremation these days, but are then left not knowing how to proceed. Without the guidance of a traditional funeral director, they are left feeling that they cannot now give their loved one a 'proper send off'. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I can help with anything from a beautiful personal celebration at the crematorium, to a service at a private venue such as a hotel or restaurant, a favourite beauty spot or anywhere that is meaningful to you. Check out my suggestions page for other 'DIY' options when you have ashes and have no idea what to do.
